I have now purchased 3 sets of these. I make all of my one year old's meals and store them in the pyrex because it is safer than plastic. I do not use any plastic now as these glass containers make me feel safe. I even serve all of my child's meals in these and some of my own if they are hot. I believe that these are the safest things in my shelves so I use them for everything. I have had no problems with them and they wash in the dishwasher nicely. I do not use the microwave to heat up my child's meals instead I use the largest bowl, heat water in it in the microwave, then stick the smaller container in the hot water to warm it up. Veggies, meats, beans, oatmeal, etc. They all heat up nicely using the bowl of hot water. I recommend the product and the value Amazon is offering.
