Customer Review: Workhorse in my kitchen

Having cooked professionally for many years, when I find a pan I like, I will always try another by the same manufacturer. This is the case here (I now own the entire line and they get quite a workout!). This pan, as with all of this line, is an excellent one to have in your kitchen. It is heavy duty but cleans quite easily - wipe with paper towel and load it in the dishwasher or handwash if you wish. Have yet to find anything which sticks to it after a few minutes in warm water!
I use this pan for everything from pasta dishes to cakes and bar cookies. The pan distributes heat uniformly so no hot spots which lighter weight pans have. I try to not use steel utensils in these pans but sometimes it has to be done ... you could not tell by looking at them. They are very durable and highly addicting to use.
I had to learn to adapt oven temperatures a bit based on what was being baked due to the darkness of the finish. A couple of mishaps (lowered temperature the next time) and now it is all smooth sailing.
I recommend this pan and the entire Pyrex Professional line for both novice and professional cooks.
