I ordered this for the upcoming holidays, and this product is everything one could ask for. It's extremely durable - I tried shaking it from side-to-side to unlock it and was unsuccessful, which was great - the locking feature REALLY locks. The lid has an extremely secure handle, and the top is clear enough to see what awaits inside. The inside has a 9" glass Pyrex pie plate, and kudos to the thoughtful design. On the edge of the inside rim of the carrier are slits that indicate where to cut for 7 generous perfect portion sizes. If you remove the glass Pyrex plate, I suspect this would hold an even larger pie, perhaps a medium to large restaurant one. Rest assured, I'm going to test BOTH of those out! An added bonus is that even if you're not carrying one anywhere, the secure cover with the locking feature would turn this into a terrific pie keeper/server and keep one fresh for many days or until it's gone... whichever comes first!
It's not often that a product does something so well, is as durable, well-designed and thought out for ease of use. I'm sure this will last for many, many years and certain that if you order it, you will be absolutely satisfied - especially after you cut and start eating that (ahem!) first slice of pie! :-)
